Boschendal's Friday Night Market Returns for the Season

Boschendal’s Friday Night Market returns to the estate’s historic Werf precinct on 4 September, running weekly through 30 April 2027. Opening night includes a free stemless wine glass for guests, alongside live music under the stars.

The market is a regular fixture of Boschendal’s summer season, bringing together craft stalls and artisanal food and drink vendors, from pizza and burgers to oysters and baked goods, with wine available from R50. Entry is free, though the estate recommends booking ahead as sessions can fill up, and dogs are welcome on a leash.

For an estate already carrying South Africa’s Best Wine Tourism Experience title from the Tim Atkin South Africa Special Report 2026, the market is one of the more accessible, lower-cost ways to experience Boschendal on a regular basis rather than a single set-piece visit.
