The Meeting Place and Skêr Barber Co. Win Kfm's Best of the Cape Awards

Two Stellenbosch businesses topped their categories in Kfm 94.5’s 2026 Best of the Cape Awards, announced on 21 August. The Meeting Place reclaimed Best Breakfast Spot, and Skêr Barber Co. was named Best Barber for the second year running.
This year’s awards drew more than 18,000 nominations and over 440,000 public votes across the Western Cape, with winners decided entirely by that vote rather than a judging panel. Both wins are repeats: The Meeting Place is defending a previous Best Breakfast Spot title, and Skêr Barber Co. has now taken Best Barber in consecutive years.
For two independent Stellenbosch businesses, back-to-back regional wins decided by public vote are a meaningful signal of sustained local loyalty, not just a single good year.
